LUX-TRADER Refund Policy

1. Purpose of This Refund Policy

 

This Refund Policy explains how refunds are handled for:

 

  • Upfront program fees

  • Monthly subscription payments

  • Digital access services delivered through the LUX membership tiers

 

Because LUX-TRADER provides digital access, automation-driven tools, and subscription-based services, refund rules differ from physical goods or regulated investment products.

 

 

2. Upfront Program Fee (Non-Refundable Once Access Is Granted)

 

The upfront program fee covers:

 

  • Administrative onboarding

  • Evaluation/challenge setup

  • Automation & system configuration

  • Agreement processing

  • Dashboard provisioning

  • Priority support and account tracking

 

Once any onboarding materials, dashboards, or system access have been delivered, the upfront program fee becomes non-refundable.

 

 

Before access is granted:

 

A refund may be requested only if the onboarding process has not begun.

 

 

Challenge Phase Clarification 

 

The challenge is:

 

  • Not refundable

  • Not transferable

  • Not tied to system performance

  • Not eligible for chargebacks

 

LUX covers the challenge cost as part of the program structure. It is not a refundable product.

 

Refunds cannot be issued because:

 

  • A challenge fails

  • A challenge takes longer to review

  • A prop firm requests a reset

  • A challenge is paused due to market conditions

 

 

3. Monthly Subscription Fees

 

Monthly fees provide access to:

 

  • LUX dashboards and reporting

  • Automation systems

  • Customer support

  • Tier-based benefits

  • System updates and compliance monitoring

 

 

Non-Refundable Billing Policy

 

Monthly subscription fees are non-refundable once a billing period begins.

 

Cancellation applies to future billing cycles only.

 

 

4. When Monthly Billing Begins (NEW Requirement)

 

To reflect the new LUX program structure:

 

Monthly subscription fees do not begin until:

 

  1. The evaluation/challenge is completed, AND

  2. Live funded capital is deployed, AND

  3. Monthly system performance exceeds 2%.

 

This ensures subscribers only begin paying once live automated performance begins.

 

Cancelling before this point simply exits the program — no subscription fees are charged.

 

 

5. No Refunds for Performance or Trading Outcomes

 

LUX-TRADER does not provide:

 

  • Investment services

  • Promised returns

  • Performance guarantees

  • Financial advice

  • Payout guarantees

 

Therefore, refunds cannot be issued for:

 

  • Performance below expectations

  • Months with reduced activity

  • Missed payout cycles

  • Prop firm decisions or rule enforcement

  • Market conditions

  • Automation resets, evaluation delays, or verification timelines

 

The subscription provides access to systems, not financial results.

 

 

6. Optional Service Continuity Extension (Courtesy Only)

 

LUX may, at its discretion, offer a temporary free extension to a subscriber’s billing cycle in months where:

 

  • No payout is generated

  • System resets occur

  • External delays affect participation

 

This extension:

 

  • Is optional

  • Is not guaranteed

  • Is not a refund

  • Does not imply performance expectations

  • Does not represent financial advice

 

 

7. Failed Payments & Payment Disputes

 

If a payment fails:

 

  • Access may be suspended

  • Automated retry attempts may occur

 

If a customer files an incorrect chargeback for services received, LUX may:

 

  • Suspend membership

  • Freeze payout access

  • Recover chargeback fees

  • Require settlement before reinstatement

 

Chargebacks for digital services already delivered are improper under UK consumer law.

 

 

8. Refund Exceptions (Rare Cases)

 

Refunds may be granted only if:

 

✔ Duplicate payment occurred

✔ Payment processor error occurred

✔ Access to onboarding or dashboards was never delivered due to a technical fault

 

Refunds cannot be issued for:

 

✘ Change of mind

✘ Not using the service

✘ Delayed evaluations caused by prop firms

✘ Challenge outcomes

✘ Performance levels

✘ Failure to complete onboarding steps

✘ Inactivity due to market or prop-firm restrictions

 

Approved refunds take 7–14 business days.

 

 

9. Early-Access Pricing

 

For the first 10 early-access members:

 

  • Pricing is locked only while the subscription remains active

  • If you cancel, you lose your early-access pricing

  • Rejoining later requires paying the updated standard tier pricing

 

Early-access fees follow the same refund rules as all tier pricing.

 

 

10. Digital Services Acknowledgement

 

By subscribing to LUX-TRADER, you acknowledge that:

 

  • LUX provides digital automated-access services

  • Access begins immediately upon activation

  • Digital services are generally non-refundable once delivered under UK consumer law

 

This acknowledgement is required at checkout and within the Participation Agreement.
